"SCUFFING" detection on glass bottles

"Scuffing" appears as white rings on the periphery of bottles after they have been recycled several times.

ROVI-TECH has developed a vision solution for this condition using our ILB-25N vision system coupled with a digital camera.

The user simply teaches the system to reognize badly scratched bottles, good bottles and acceptable bottles.

The system has an in-panel touchscreen and is mounted in a stainless steel cabinet.
